Accounts and sign-in
Signing in, verification, profile details, and account access.
Why do I need to verify my email?
Email verification protects your private memories and shared spaces. Open the verification message from Evermere, follow its link, then return to sign in. Check spam or promotions if it does not arrive right away.
How do I change my display name?
Open your account menu, choose Settings, and edit the Profile section. Your display name is shown with your memories, perspectives, and contributions in shared spaces.
How do I delete my account?
Open your account menu and choose Delete account. You must first transfer or delete any shared spaces you own. Private memories and media are permanently removed; contributions already made in shared spaces remain attributed to “A former member.”
Memories and media
Creating, finding, editing, and adding media to memories.
How do I add or edit a memory?
Use the plus button along the river to add a memory. Open an existing memory to change its title, reflection, date, people, mood, or media when your role allows editing.
How can I find an older memory?
Use Search from the river header to search memory text and narrow results by space, date, people, mood, event, author, or media. You can also travel through time with the river timeline.
What should I do if media will not upload?
Keep Evermere open while an upload finishes and retry on a stable connection. If it still fails, include the media type, approximate file size, and what happened in a support request. Do not attach the private media itself.
Spaces and sharing
Invitations, members, permissions, and notifications.
How do invitations and shared spaces work?
Space owners and permitted members can invite people from Space settings. Invitations are sent by email and expire if they are not accepted. Each shared space keeps its own members, memories, and permissions.
Why can’t I change something in a shared space?
Your role controls what you can do. Owners manage the space and membership, editors can contribute, and viewers have read-only access. Ask the space owner if you need a different role.
Can I change notifications for a space?
Open the shared space settings to mute or restore its notifications. Muting a space does not remove your membership or change what other members can do.
Billing and refunds
Evermere Plus, payment details, cancellations, and refunds.
How do I manage or cancel Evermere Plus?
Open your account menu and choose Manage subscription. Evermere opens Paddle’s secure customer portal for payment details, invoices, renewal, and cancellation.
What happens to my memories if I cancel?
Your existing memories remain available. At the end of the paid period, free-plan creation limits apply again. Shared spaces and media you can already access remain subject to their usual permissions.
How do I ask about a charge or refund?
Choose Billing or refunds in the contact form and include the account email, transaction date, and what went wrong. Never send a complete card number or other payment credentials.
Privacy and account data
Private content, account data, and safe support requests.
Who can see my memories?
Memories in your personal space are private to you. Memories in shared spaces are available to members according to their access. Review the active space before adding or sharing a memory.
What information is included in a support request?
Evermere includes your account ID when signed in, the area of the app you came from, the app environment, and a general browser and device summary. It never automatically includes memory content, resource identifiers, raw page addresses, or your IP address.
